ROD GLIDEWELL -- With over 20 years of experience and an impeccable reputation in the home building industry, Rod has earned a long list of distinctions commemorating his skill and expertise. Most recently Glidewell was awarded the 2001 Small Business of the year award in the construction/manufactures division by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Rod has been voted the 2002 HBA President. Rod was also voted 1999 Home Builders Association President. He has also served as the Vice Pres. of the HBA in 1998, as Chairman of the 1997 HBA New Homes Council, Co-Chairman of the 1996-7 HBA Parade of Homes. Rod received the Regency awards for 1997 in the $125 - $149,999 class, 1999 in the $400 - $449,999 class, 2000 in the $300 - $349,999 class, 2001 in the $350 -$399,999 class and 2002 in the $350 - $399,999 class. Rod was also voted 1996 "Favorite Builder" by the Columbia Daily Tribune's Reader's Poll. TRACY GLIDEWELL -- With her years of experience in the home building business, her strong accounting and finance background, and public relations savvy, it is no wonder that she was one of the individuals cited in a recent Columbia Tribune news article called "Women in Construction". In it, Tracy comments in the rising number of women on both sides of the construction business -- as contractors / subcontractors and as consumers. Tracy states that "women have always played a strong role in construction... behind the scenes", and that now "women are breaking into the field on all levels in a big way". |
